Sanzaru games twitter

I mean, the best thing is you work on something for so long with so many people at Oculus and Marvel Games working with Sanzaru Games, working long hours bringing this thing into fruition. We brought our launch roster 18 characters, 10 locations, 8 bosses and that amazing story trailer.

I hope it conveyed to everyone the feeling the team was going for of finally being able to live out a childhood dream. I mean now we get to bring that dream to everybody with the Oculus Rift. Are there plans for additional characters to be added later? And I think the fans will like and enjoy. We just want to get people in there to have fun. We just announced the bundle that comes with the Oculus Rift system and the game, which hopefully will make it easier for new people who want to jump on to get in.

Were the locations choices made strictly for story reasons? Mat Kraemer: We have a dynamic difficulty system. You know you have the Kree, Hydra, Ultron centuries and those are just the minions. We have seven bosses that can randomly appear and some of those bosses are really difficult behaviourally.

T hen you got other heavy hitters like Magneto in there and Dormammu. And so with the difficulty r ramping you could even get it with his two bosses at once. Which you really have to work as a team to survive. Mat Kraemer : It was a group thing across Oculus and marvel and Sanzaru. You only have one first shot to do Marvel Heroes justice in VR and we might as well try to get the best ones that we can get. Another thing I want to speak to is the characters in general.

E ach of them is completely built from the ground up. We were working really close with Marvel to make sure that they feel like what you would expect them to feel like in VR.

And he plays… I mean you could make an entire VR game just based on that single character. It may take you a little bit longer to kill all the bosses and get all those shards. So it really varies on playstyle. So every single one of the 18 characters has four personal objectives.

These plans were scrapped by Sony, and Kraemer said there was no Sly Cooper game in development at the studio. But now, Sanzaru is an Oculus Studio.

Some might say Sucker Punch could pick up the mantle, but that studio has been developing games of a different style and scale for the past 15 years, and has little to no reason to return to the series. Showing up occasionally in a crossover game like PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale seemed about right, and generally Sony is pretty good about moving on from franchises between generations. And for most of those years I was pretty content with that.

But then Thieves in Time came around and it not only brought him back, but left his fate so ambiguous that I desperately needed to see him for a fifth game. Along with the character reveal, a trailer for the series was also uploaded. To tie in with the series, SEGA are publishing a tie-in video game as well. The real shock comes in the choice of developers.

Check out the announcement trailer for the game below:. The Sonic you know and love from games like Sonic Lost World, Generations and Colours belongs to the official canon with the Sonic from Sonic Boom existing in an alternate universe. Basically Sonic Boom does not replace the Sonic you currently know.
