Cons: Menu is what everyone else has said, very confusing. I reset to factory settings by mistake, then took over 30 minutes to understand that it was in showroom - you can't change any setting until you first get back to home setting. Cons: The on screen menu takes a little getting used to, the set shipped with the showroom setting turned on so the colors were off the charts but once I adjusted everything I haven't touched it since. The good and bad thing about this model is that it ships with about a million inputs and outputs, so when you want to go between HDMI and component you need to toggle through a bunch of the inputs. It would have bee nice if you could choose to skip by the inputs that you are not using.

The set doesn't work with my Dish Network remote so I need to adjust the volume with the TV remote and change the channel with the Dish one. Overall Review: I would recommend this TV to anyone. You can find other TV's with better picture quality but you will pay at least twice as much for them.

Great set, great picture, great price, exactly what you'd expect from NewEgg. Pros: Initially I was somewhat hesitant to buy a recertified product but I took a chance and was glad I did. The picture quality is just simply outstanding, far beyond my beliefs. I was watching an HD tv show tonight and heard sounds I never before heard with my old set.

Cons: I'll list this in order of nuisance 1. No written manual, had to walk back and forth to check settings for all my devices. Cable port connections would be easier to get to if they were angled away from the set. The shipping box is really big and if you dont have a truck or large car, it will be hard to dispose of. Nice speakers. Cons: The stand and the whole unit is way too big for a 42" LCD, this set weighs as much if not more than some of the 52" models. Very poor contrast, image is dull and can be seen rather poorly from the side. Very slow channel changes. Uneven backlighting. Black levels could be improved as well.
