Below is a teaser, "Old Man" with Nick Forster on lap steel In their late teens, the sisters joined forces with their dad, who for decades, was a one man band playing old blues and country tunes for a living.

This foundation of classic "roots music and Americana" settled in their hearts, but also awoke the urge of breaking the rules of traditional music. As a contrast to the first two albums which took several months to make, the third one "Little Wild Life" was recorded during ten days in an old dance studio converted to a studio in former east Berlin, co-produced by Ma tt W i gnall C old War Kids, J.

Roddy Walston. All three albums received great acclaim by the press and are released in numerous countries. The releases in combination with relentless touring have given the band a reputation as one of the music scene's most noticeable live acts. Their projects are supported by the Swedish art council which aim is to preserve unique art and music. In early the band started working with K obalt Music Publishing.

In the band toured in Europe and North America, performing with legendary artist Robbie Williams. The girls have toured with Gary Clark Jr , and Brandi Carlile , earning critical acclaim from Q magazine , Mojo magazine , Uncut magazine , and many more.

The band continued touring throughout , dotting Europe and North America with performances of their already legacy-laden career. They were invited to perform at the renowned live radio show E town in Boulder, sharing the bill with Fruition out of Portland.

Signed in as: filler godaddy. The sisters of Baskery are back on European soil, after living and loving in the US for nearly 3 years. Their backpacks hold new songs, new experiences, new friendships and broken promises. But no hard feelings. The trio traveled overseas without a master plan and settled down in one of the less hip parts of the city. Surrounded by Mexican diners, body shops, a couple of tattoo studios, numerous stray cats and all kinds of opportunists, the sisters built a home in the American south, where they got creative in their living room and on the porch of their wooden house on Leafland Avenue.

They biked through every limb of Nashville and got to know and appreciate the city, where so many people with artistic dreams come to fulfill them. The golden ticket to the city of dreams and angels became reality and the sisters boxed up their Nashville existence to jump on the carousel. The band signed with WBR in the fall of and moved to LA, a city with a completely different beat to it than Nashville and the sisters were up for the change. The studio luxury they experienced there was quite the contrast to some of their earlier recordings and the band embraced a completely new way of working together with Dawson and his assistant Mike Malchicoff.

So far so great, yeah? Fast-forward to the beginning of Among them, the trio from Sweden. There were talks of hunger strikes outside the WBR headquarters and launching a pissed off give-us-our-album-back-campaign, but after some eager dispute with the help from a feisty and dedicated New York lawyer, nine of the twelve songs, the ones not yet launched by WBR, were returned to the band.
